Sri Ratnalamma Vari Temple is one of the most revered and ancient temples in Andhra Pradesh, dedicated to Goddess Ratnalamma — the divine mother who blesses her devotees with prosperity, health, and spiritual wisdom.

The temple was established over five centuries ago by devout priests who recognized the divine presence of the goddess at this sacred location. Over the centuries, it has grown into a major pilgrimage center attracting thousands of devotees daily.

The temple architecture follows the traditional Dravidian style with an intricately carved Gopuram (entrance tower), beautifully adorned mandapams, and a sanctum sanctorum housing the divine idol of Goddess Ratnalamma.

Temple Foundation

Sri Ratnalamma Vari Temple was originally established by the saint Veerabhadra Swami, who discovered the divine presence of Goddess Ratnalamma at this sacred site through deep meditation.

The magnificent seven-tiered Gopuram was constructed under the royal patronage of the local king, adorned with exquisite Dravidian carvings depicting mythological stories of the Goddess.
